Founded in 2009 by LA-based designer Kande Hall, our iconic, vintage-inspired jewelry features French medallions from the 1960s, discovered during her travels in France. Each piece tells a unique story, reflecting the elegance of French culture.
French Kande is sold in over 600 high-end specialty boutiques across the country. Kande still personally curates every pearl, semi-precious stone, chain, and Austrian Crystal to embody her effortlessly chic, signature “Throw On and Go” style.
We are proud to be designed, cast, assembled and shipped entirely in Los Angeles. Every casting (excluding our historical French medallions) is an exclusive French Kande design – unmatched in its aesthetic, quality and attention to detail. Wholesale Eligibility Criteria
French Kande Wholesale partnerships are reserved for brick-and-mortar stores that align with our brand’s vision. Proof of a physical store required during the application process.
Opening/Minimum Order Requirements
Opening orders must meet our $1500 minimum. We believe this will ensure you have a curated selection that best represents FK’s value to your clientele. After your initial order, the minimum requirement is waved on any new orders you place.
Sizing and Customization
We offer a versatile selection of necklace lengths, bracelet sizes, and ring sizes to suit every preference. Detailed sizing information is available on our product pages, making it easy to choose the perfect fit for your clientele. We also provide customization options and extenders for added flexibility.
Production and Shipping
Our jewelry is handmade to order in our Los Angeles studio, so production typically takes one to three weeks depending on order size and time of year.
Shipping is available through UPS, DHL, and occasionally USPS, with costs calculated based on your location and order size. Delivery times vary, but domestic shipments usually take 3-5 business days, and international shipments 3-7 business days. Expedited shipping is available. NOTE: international customers are responsible for any applicable customs fees or taxes.
Pricing and Payment Terms
All wholesale pricing is available upon approval of your application. We accept payments via all major credit cards. Full payment is required at the time of order for all online orders through our EZOrder 4 Business Program. Opening orders placed with a sales rep require a 20% deposit, with the remaining balance due once the order is ready to ship.
Repairs and Exchanges Policy
We stand by the quality of our pieces. If you encounter any issues, we will repair it within the first year of purchase (order confirmation required) free of charge. Exchanges are accepted for damaged items but must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of shipment.
After one year, we can repair your FK jewelry for a fee plus the cost of shipping. Upon receipt, should it be determined the item is beyond repair, a replacement a fee will be quoted on a case-by-case basis.
Materials Used
French Kande jewelry is crafted from a variety of premium materials, including freshwater pearls, semi-precious stones and Austrian Crystal. All our chains and castings are plated in 24k gold, sterling silver, brass and graphite finishes. Sterling and brass finishes go through an oxidation process and then hand-rubbed to produce its vintage aesthetic.
Cleaning and Care Instructions
Proper care of your French Kande will keep it looking great and extend its life. Keep your jewels dry and free of oils and fragrances to maintain the finish’s integrity. Should it patina over time, you may use a polishing cloth to revive its luster. Do not use cleaners or polishing compounds as it will remove the oxidation resulting in a brightened, shiny finish. A detailed care card is included with each order.
Packaging & Displays
Every order comes with a care card and a romance card sharing the history behind each medallion. An FK branded black suede pouch for protective storage delivers a complete and thoughtful experience for your customers.
