The Saint-Cloud metro station opened in 1923 and is named after a gate in the 19th century Theirs Wall of Paris, which led to the town of Saint Cloud. Nearby is the Parc des Prices and the Fontaines de la port de Saint-Cloud featuring bas-reliefs by Paul Landowski, a French sculptor whose best-known work is the enormous Christ the Redeemer statue in Rio de Janeiro.
