    Commemorating the Inter-Allied Victory of WWI, this medallion features the Lady Angel of Mercy on the front and shows the flags of the Allied forces on the back where it also reads in French and Dutch: The Great War for Civilization.

  • Rurale

    This design was originally created and used as a button on garments worn by guards (from 1791-1958), who also worked as forest rangers and game wardens in various small rural areas in France.

  • Saint Benedict G

    This medallion is worn or carried to call down God's blessing and protection upon us, our homes and possessions regardless of where we are. It represents a prayer for strength in time of temptation and for peace among ourselves and all nations of the world.

  • Saint Roch

    St. Roch is the patron saint of dogs and dog owners. After curing people of the plague, he contracted the disease. While awaiting death in a remote forest hut, a dog befriended him, bringing him food and licking his wounds. His health was restored, after which he received divine inspiration.

Shipping and exchanges

All French Kande is handmade to order and currently takes up to six business days to build, in addition to shipping time. After your order is created and shipped out, you will receive an email with tracking information.

We accept exchanges within 21 days of purchase, we do not accept returns. All custom orders are final sale, no exchanges or returns. All damages or shipment discrepancies must be reported within 24 hours of receipt of shipment; either by phone or email. Contact us if you have any questions.

International orders are subject to additional shipping.

Jewelry care and warranty

French Kande is plated in sterling silver, gold and brass, all hand-finished by California artisans. Many feature color variations and blemishes that contribute to their one-of-a-kind aesthetic. Keep your Kande dry and free of oils and fragrances to maintain the finish's integrity. Should it patina over time, use a polishing cloth to revive its luster. Do not use cleaners or polishing compounds as it will remove the oxidation resulting in a brightened, shiny finish.
